CADD Drafter/GIS Technician

Qualifications:

Those who are interested in working as a CADD Drafter/GIS Technician must meet the following requirements:

 - Be in good academic standing (2.75GPA desired, minimum 2.0 GPA)

 - Be studying Math, Science, Engineering, Drafting, or Surveying-related fields.

 - Be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities:

 - As a CADD Drafter/GIS Technician, you will have the opportunity to participate in activities associated with the Surveying Group, including performing Deed Research, Entry, Boundary Resolving, and converting between CAD and GIS files under the supervision of a PE and PS.

 - Collecting and Generating geospatial data.

 - Developing and Updating Maps and representatations using ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap among other software packages.

 - Assist Survey Crews, including participating in field work to collect data using the latest GPS/GNSS and Electronic Total Stations.

 - Help staff in analysis, implementation, and orientation of geospatial data to develop geospatial and related products.

 - Gain experience and working knowledge through company offered training on use and implementation of GlobalMapper, Autodesk, Carlson Survey, Pix4D, Trimble Software, and ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap software packages.

 - Through training to be paid for by 6Guns, LLC, gain experience and working knowledge of Land Surveying, Drafting, and GIS.

 - Some travel (paid travel time, mileage, and per-diem) may be required.

 - Applicants, if hired, would be required to commute to the office near Wadestown, WV in Monongalia County.

Job Description:

6Guns, LLC is seeking hardworking Scientific, Engineering, Math, or Geotechnical students or recent graduates for full-time employment beginning before May 2026 as a Photogrammetrist. This position would offer competitive pay based on Experience. Employees have the opportunity to seek additional training, develop long-lasting client relationships, and pay raises with additional experience and qualifications. Your responsibilities will include quoting projects, performing property ownership research, resolving boundaries, and mapping data using ArcGIS and CAD softwares.
