Analyst Program Description

Stage 1: 3-month trial period
• Monthly salary of $5,000 / month
• M37 will provide corporate housing for free and cover all meals expenses 
• M37 will provide accounting and modeling training
• M37 will sponsor CFA Level 1 exam and cover all related expenses (eg. studying materials)

Stage 2: Full-time employment
• Annual base salary of $150,000 / year
• Year-end cash bonus
• Full healthcare benefits
 

Company Introduction 
M37 is a Silicon Valley based long/short equity hedge fund specializing in artificial intelligence (AI). It exclusively invests in AI and AI-related public technology companies. 
Our investment strategy is to long technology companies that are either enabling or benefiting significantly from this AI-driven transformation, while shorting those that are likely to be disrupted or struggle to adapt. At the core of our approach is rigorous, deep fundamental research aimed at uncovering unique, idiosyncratic investment opportunities rooted in single-stocks.

We invest considerable time and resources into researching the latest developments in AI technology and products. This extensive research includes reviewing technical papers, analyzing product specifications and performance reviews, and engaging directly with a network of AI engineers, researchers, scientists, operators and founders.

Job Description 
• Conduct in-depth, data-driven fundamental research on public companies within the AI sector.
• Perform technical analysis of the latest AI technologies and products.
• Conduct interviews with senior management of AI-centric and related companies.
• Facilitate and engage in detailed dialogues with AI researchers, scientists, professors, engineers, operators and founders.
• Build and update comprehensive financial and valuation models for coverage companies.
• Construct and maintain industry-specific supply/demand models.
• Review quarterly and annual filings and perform forensic accounting analysis.

Qualifications 
• Strong interest in science and technology, with a firm belief in the AI revolution.
• Demonstrated passion for finance and investing.
• Exceptional critical thinking abilities, combined with a profound intellectual curiosity and a keen desire to learn.
• Ability to multitask effectively, complemented by superior communication and coordination skills.
• Proactive team player with impeccable integrity.
• Must possess permanent US work authorization.
• Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is required.
• Overall GPA 3.7 or above
