Estimator (Paid Entry-Level Opportunity)

Alltek Energy Systems, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned commercial HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration contractor serving New York’s Capital Region and beyond.

We’re expanding our estimating department and seeking motivated candidates who enjoy problem-solving, math, and technical detail. The Estimator will assist in preparing project take-offs, reviewing blueprints, coordinating supplier quotes, and supporting bid preparation for commercial HVAC projects.

Responsibilities:

Review architectural and mechanical drawings

Quantify materials and equipment for project bids

Work with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing

Assist in proposal preparation and documentation

Collaborate with project managers and engineers

Preferred Skills:

Basic understanding of construction or mechanical systems

Proficiency with Excel, FastEst, or PlanHub (training provided)

Strong attention to detail and organization

Eagerness to learn estimating methods and workflows
