Product Development Engineering Internship - Summer 2026

Vesco Medical is seeking a motivated, self-starting student to join our team. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in product development, while working collaboratively with multiple departments.
Role Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and development of new medical devices
- Assist with prototyping using CAD software and physical modeling
- Develop test protocols to evaluate concept models
- Conduct developmental prototype testing and document results
- Generate technical reports summarizing and drawing conclusions from testing data
- Assist with verification and validation testing
Required Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team on larger projects
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, based on end user needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD software
- An understanding of customer research techniques, including collecting Voice of Customer (customer surveys for new products)
- An interest in medical device innovation and product design
Education Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
