IT Systems Administrator
P&R Fasteners, Inc. is a fast-growing ISO 9000 registered supplier of component parts to original-equipment-manufacturers in the power tool, consumer products and automotive industries.
We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in networking, network security, programming, hardware, VMware, Syteline ERP, EDI and Microsoft Office products.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Write and maintain software and scripts to automate various IT tasks
- Install, configure, and maintain servers (physical as well as virtual) and other hardware
- Provide technical support for Microsoft Office products and other software
- Provide training and guidance to other team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in ITยท Understanding of ERP systems (preferably Infor ERP/SyteLine).
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Experience with network security and firewall configuration
- Proficient in programming languages such as vb.net and c#.net
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
