Chemistry Teaching Fellow
Want to be a teacher? Educator’s Ally helps aspiring and early career educators find positions in K-12 private and independent schools nationwide. We are currently assisting schools throughout the country with their searches for entry level Chemistry Fellows for the ‘25-26 school year. **Not required to have certification or be an education major!
Many schools have teaching fellowship opportunities for early career teachers. These are paid, full-time positions. Teaching Fellows teach at the middle or high school level where they focus on a specific subject area, such as Chemistry.
Teaching Fellow positions vary from school to school: some are one-year while others are two-years in length. Two-year Teaching Fellows often have the opportunity to earn a masters degree (paid in part by the school). One example of this type of program is the Independent School Teaching Residency Program at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Throughout Teaching Fellowships, Fellows benefit from professional development and receive mentorship. Fellows also have a cohort of peer teaching fellows.
