Talent Accelerator Program
Are you interested in a career in Technical Sales with a sustainable organization? Evoqua Water Technologies is hiring for our Sales Talent Accelerator Program (TAP). This full-time sales role begins with a formal sales training program will set you up for success working in any division of Evoqua.
The program itself is 16 weeks long. In this full time, paid program, you will go through Evoqua’s onboarding program including a coach and a leadership mentor, complete a full sales training curriculum with real customer interaction, product and technology training, along with Evoqua’s sales and system process training. You will also spend time at our various manufacturing plants along with time riding along with our Service Professionals for firsthand experience in what our customers expect from Evoqua.
Once the training program is complete, you will be assigned a full-time sales role within Evoqua. From there, the opportunity for growth is endless with a well-defined career path for any of our sales roles.
Requirements for the program:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship
Demonstrable Commercial Capabilities, Technically Motivated, High sense of urgency, Decisive, and eager to learn and be coached.
Ability to relocate across the United States for your first Full Time Assignment
Ability to travel regularly for the first 16 weeks during training to visit various Evoqua and customer locations.
Sales TAP program will begin in early June.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks
• Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business
• Creates and delivers quotes and proposals to deliver to customers
• Ensures customer satisfaction and retention
• Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting
• Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner
• Conducts Sales Presentations and Product Demos
• Facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.)
• Sells moderately complex products and services; utilizes developing knowledge of products, services, and industry to recommend best solutions to customers
• Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
• BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship
• Strong communication skills
• Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
• Broader understanding of Sales and Solutions that Evoqua Offers
• Has a working understanding of company offerings and sales techniques
• Continues to develop familiarity with industry
• Ability to utilize relationships in other business units to recognize opportunities for collaborative selling
• Ability to complete sales with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing customers
• Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
• Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
