Inside Sales Manager – Pittsburgh Office
The Inside Sales candidate, reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales, is responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing activities across the HICO suite of products including Power Transformers, Gas-insulated Switching Devices, Battery Energy Storage Solutions and FACTS Solutions. The candidate will be a key contributor to our Sales Team. The Inside Sales candidate qualifies leads and actively supports the Outside Sales Team in a given territory while working in a team environment with various sales channels. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and further developing relationships across the territory including the local sales representative network, customers, and internal teams with the ultimate goal of growing sales revenue and profitability. An entrepreneurial spirit and dynamic personality will succeed in this fast-paced environment collaborating with several internal and external divisions to deliver problem solving solutions to the power industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sales management of a given territory
· Driving the sales team through strong selling practices to include: relationship development; time management; effective communication; and product knowledge
· Actively contributes to the success of the sales channel by participating in relevant annual, quarterly, and weekly business planning activities to include forecasting; opportunity management; and attainment of sales goals
· Engagement and relationship building with sales reps and customers
· Collaborating with internal procurement, project management, engineering, accounting, and administrative teams
· Managing RFQs, RFIs, Proposal preparation and delivery
· Managing Purchase Orders and Change Orders as well as accounting engagement
· Managing deadlines and being highly responsive
· Attending sales meetings and/or conferences when necessary
· Building your own brand with an entrepreneurial spirit
