Salary: $40,990 - $126,186

**some positions in certain locations and occupational series are approved for special salary rate.

Pay grade: GS 5 - GS 9 (Promotion potential GS-12)

Incentives: Relocation and Recruitment incentives MAY be available.

This job announcement is for entry level recent graduate positions with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District. Mentorship is provided throughout the program.  Individual Development Plan to create and track career planning, professional development, and training activities. Who May Apply: Recent Graduates

Applicants must apply within two years of degree or certificate completion OR applicants who will graduate within 9 months (except for veterans precluded from doing so due to their military service obligation, who have up to six years after degree completion to apply). The program lasts for 1 year (unless the training requirements of the position warrant a longer and more structured training program).  Recent Graduates may be converted to a permanent position (or, in some limited circumstances, a term appointment lasting 1-4 years).
