Project Technical

Atlas Technical Consultants is seeking highly-motivated candidates with zero to four years experience to join our environmental consulting team as a Project Technical (PT) in our League City, Texas office. Qualified candidates looking for a fast-paced collaborative and entrepreneurial working environment should hold a 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. A PT within Atlas will utilize their technical skills in the fields of air quality permitting, air emission calculations, air dispersion modeling and environmental reporting while gaining experience with federal and state specific regulations and environmental compliance requirements in a variety of industries including petrochemical, oil & gas upstream, mid-stream, and refining, storage terminal, and manufacturing sectors. As an environmental professional you may have the opportunity to interface directly with our clients during on-site positions as an extension to their existing environmental staff. There is also opportunity to gain multi-media experience developing and updating waste, water, and safety plans.  
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ø Be part of team environment and work directly with multiple project managers
Ø Actively seek work opportunities with PMs to meet utilization goals
Ø Learn State and Federal (NSPS, NESHAP, MACT) regulatory requirements
Ø Self-manage multiple project deliverables
Ø Develop and update air emissions calculations and conduct air dispersion modeling
Ø Prepare major and minor air permit applications (New Source Review, Title V, and state permits)
Ø Assist with State and Federal regulatory compliance evaluations / audits
Ø Assist with the preparation of annual compliance reports (Title V Deviation Reports, Semi-Annual Monitoring Reports, Annual Compliance Certifications, and emissions inventories)
Ø Assist with the preparation of waste, water, and safety plans
Requirements:
Ø B.S. in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
Ø Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint
Ø Technical / Report writing
Ø Working knowledge of Federal and State environmental air regulations
Ø Excellent communication and computer skills
Ø Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
Ø Strong scheduling, time management and multi-tasking skills
Ø Willingness to travel and work on-site for extended time periods (at client office if necessary)
Ø Ability to stay focused to meet task and project goals
