Associate Test Engineer 

Location: Seymour, Indiana

Scope of Work:

Plan, build, and test engines in a testing environment. Work will be more tied to project management, data analysis, and understanding of testing outcomes. 

  • Engine Builds: Plan, organize parts, and create work orders to ensure engine builds, typically lasting 2 weeks to a month depending on complexity of project.
  • Project Management: Own and manage multiple projects simultaneously, integrating with program teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Technicians to perform hands-on physical work.
  • Test Cell Operations: Monitor data, perform diagnostics, report daily updates, and maintain full documentation.
  • Advanced Technologies: Work on advanced technologies supporting critical industries such as energy, transportation, and industrial applications.

Tools & Technology:

  • AVL Concerto: Utilize for data and diagnostic analysis.
  • Microsoft-based Tools: Heavy use of Excel for project management, including BBA within Excel.

  • Self-Starter: Capable of managing timelines and tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective Communicator: Able to navigate technical discussions and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including technicians, suppliers, and team leads.

  • Technical Tools and Processes: Full product testing lifecycle, including planning, building, and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering or expect to graduate by December 2024.
  • Strong interest in manufacturing, power systems, energy, automotive, heavy machinery, or sustainability.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Indiana.
