Research and Development Director

This position supports the Research & Development System, with the primary goal of developing new products to drive sustained profitable growth and improving manufacturing processes, product characteristics, materials composition and performance standards of current products. The position works closely with people or groups with different skill sets and communication styles including sales, customer service, technical, and production staff.  Requires the ability to problem solve under ambiguous circumstances and decision making based on technical expert knowledge and consideration of all sides of issue. This position requires a BS in a Technical field; preferably Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering or other related degrees. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and analytical skills.
