Junior Database Developer and Administrator

Intellicomm Inc., a cloud communications firm located in Wayne, PA, is looking for a Junior Database Developer and Administrator.

Primary Responsibilities:

• MS SQL Server setup, design, administration, and management in a MS Windows environment.

• Designing and developing software applications, primarily web-based, for data management.

• Database clustering setup and maintenance.

• Writing queries and stored procedures.

• Database backup, recovery and restores.

• Database performance tuning.

• Creating database schemas.

• Ongoing documentation of systems and procedures.

• This position requires occasional after-hours support in emergency cases.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should have a bachelors degree in a related field.

• Experience with SQL Servers and database architecture.

• Experience writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Experience creating indexes.

• Some software development experience, preferably in C++, C#, and ASP.NET.

• Candidates must be meticulous, self-motivated and demonstrate versatility and swiftness in isolating issues.
