Instalily, a cutting-edge AI startup, is looking for a curious,  highly skilled Platform/Infrastructure Engineer to help scale our AI agent platform. We are redefining how organizations leverage AI using vertical agents, and we need an engineer to build, optimize, and maintain the critical infrastructure that powers our technology.

As a Platform/Infrastructure Engineer at Instalily, you will work with the team to design and develop and enhance core AI-driven systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency. You will build tools that improve the developer experience of our AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists, while also collaborating with stakeholders, internal teams, and clients to align technical solutions with business goals.

Successful candidates will have the flexibility to work hybrid and access to a continuing education stipend to deepen their expertise in platform engineering, cloud technologies, and AI infrastructure.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and integrate components for Instalily’s AI agent platform and infrastructure environment.
  • Develop internal tools that enhance the workflow and efficiency of AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to design, build, and productionize well-documented systems for internal business objectives and client needs.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and maintainability across the stack by implementing best practices for code modularity, dependency management, and performance optimization.
  • Introduce and scale cloud-native best practices, leveraging GCP Cloud Run, Cloud PostgreSQL, AWS, and Azure AI Search.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 0-2 years with a Master’s degree as a software or infrastructure engineer (internships and prior experience are a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Python with a focus on infrastructure-related development.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), testing, CI/CD integration, and versioning strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with technical and non-technical teams effectively.
  • Interest in AI and machine learning infrastructure, experience in distributed systems, and open-source contributions is a plus.
