Job Title: Project Manager Intern
The project manager intern assists with managing ongoing engineering development programs and tasks. This includes organizing and allocating engineering assets, assisting with the tracking and completion of subcontract deliverable requirements list (SDRL) documentation, and tracking budget and schedule of current programs.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support active development programs through task management.
- Maintain and update JIRA boards for tracking tasks from creation through completion.
- Drive the organization and inventory of engineering assets (tools, equipment, calibration, etc.).
- Support documentation efforts to maintain up-to-date records and accuracy.
- Review and update current engineering standard practices (ESP) documents.
- Generate reports and presentations regarding design changes and evaluations.
Requirements:
- Goal for this position to turn into a full-time 40-hour work week during the summer.
- Experience with task management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc.).
- Experience with electrical components and obsolescence management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Working knowledge of desktop computers.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) and Adobe.
