
Junior Data Analyst
Guzman Energy is seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst with a background in energy and finance to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in supporting the structuring and pricing of new energy contracts and plays a critical role in resource planning. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison across internal teams, synthesizing analytical outputs into actionable insights, managing project timelines, and ensuring clear communication of results. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the structuring and pricing of new power supply agreements and energy contracts.
- Perform resource planning and modeling using internal tools.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Manage and track project deliverables, ensuring alignment with deadlines and objectives.
- Develop financial models and perform economic analyses to support contract development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Create reports, executive presentations, and decision-support materials for leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a proactive and self-directed approach.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across technical and commercial functions.
