Transportation Engineering Technician Senior - Kanawha County

The Transportation Engineering Technician Senior will report to the District 1 Construction Department and perform advanced-level technical and supervisory duties associated with either the engineering or construction areas of highway and bridge construction and maintenance. This includes planning, design, materials testing, construction inspection and quality assurance & quality control (QA & QC) plan review. Work independently, performing complex tasks under the guidance of a supervisor or engineer. Participates in a training program requiring 180 Technician Development Hours. Performs other related duties as required.
