Transportation Engineer Associate Senior - Mineral County

The Transportation Engineer Associate Senior will be assigned to the District Bridge Department, but could report on a daily basis to any of the 7 counties in District 5. Serves as a lead worker as maintenance lab leader, Construction leader, Squad Leader, Non-Unit Leader, Materials Leader, etc., and performs engineering work in the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of highways and their attendant facilities and structures. Work is performed within a defined framework of policy, but the incumbent independently makes engineering decisions within that framework and may make or assist in making broad decisions in setting objectives and goals. May supervise lower-level employees. Performs related duties as required.  District 5 consist of Mineral, Grant, Hardy, Hampshire, Morgan, Berkely and Jefferson counties.
